Traffic Conditions and Transportation Tips

As these events draw in large crowds, traffic around venues such as Petco Park and Balboa Park can become congested, especially during peak hours. Plan ahead to avoid delays:

Public Transportation: Utilize San Diego's Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) which offers convenient access to many event locations. The Trolley is particularly efficient for reaching downtown locations like Petco Park.

Ride-sharing Options: For a stress-free experience, consider using ride-sharing services. This will bypass parking challenges and help navigate around road closures for events.

Parking: If you opt to drive, ensure you check for available parking options in advance. Parking in areas like Balboa Park can fill quickly, so arrive early or book spaces where possible.
