Transportation Tips for Attending Events

Traffic Conditions: Understandably, downtown San Diego can be bustling with traffic, especially around major event locations like Petco Park and Balboa Park. Peak hours tend to be just before and after events, so allow extra travel time to find parking or navigate crowds when opting to drive.

Public Transit: San Diego offers an efficient trolley service with stops near major venues. For the Padres game, the Orange and Blue lines are your best bet to stop close to Petco Park. For those visiting Balboa Park and the San Diego Zoo, consider the Rapid 215 bus line or park and ride options from Old Town Transit Center.
