Traffic Conditions & Transportation Tips
Each of these events brings their own set of challenges in terms of traffic and parking. Here’s how you can plan ahead:
Petco Park: Popular games like the Padres vs. Cubs often lead to heavy congestion around the stadium. Consider using public transport or rideBLQ’s services to avoid the hassle of parking.
Balboa Park: With ongoing exhibitions at the Fleet Science Center, parking can be scarce. Plan your visit during weekdays if possible, and use ride-sharing services to ease your travel.
Embarcadero Marina Park South: Attending the Symphony Concert Series on the waterfront is a treat, but traffic can spike during the evenings. RideBLQ offers drop-off and pick-up services to help you enjoy the event stress-free.
San Diego Zoo: The Nighttime Zoo event draws in crowds. Arrive early in the day and plan to spend a full day at the zoo to avoid evening rush hour.
Old Town State Historic Park: While parking is available, it fills up quickly during major events. Use rideBLQ to get to the heart of the fiesta without the parking battle.
