Traffic and Transportation Insights

Long Beach knows how to host a large-scale event, but this also means certain logistical challenges with traffic and parking. Anticipating heavy congestion is key, as thousands of fans flood into the streets to experience the Grand Prix.

Traffic Conditions

Expect major delays especially around the areas of Shoreline Drive and the Convention Center. The city advises attendees to use public transportation when possible or to carpool to mitigate traffic woes.

Transportation Tips:

Public Transit: Utilize the Metro Blue Line which connects Long Beach to Downtown Los Angeles, offering an efficient way to travel without the hassle of parking.

Parking: If you must drive, arrive early to secure parking spots which are available though limited around the Convention Center.

Carpooling: Consider sharing a ride to reduce both costs and traffic congestion.
